With Orby, you can search Google, Google Images, eBay, Amazon and optionally your own computer all within one easy to use program
You can even open results within Orby, in a unique ‘mini preview’ which gives you at a glance a preview of your search results. Viewing the results in your favourite browser, like Firefox or Internet Explorer, can easily be done as well.

Orby’s “Mini Preview”
Orby comes equipped with a unique ‘mini preview’, which is a fully-interactive* mini web browser, showing you your search results without having to leave Orby.
- Custom zoom sizes from 10% to 100%
- Each search engine has a mini preview, which remembers its zoom scales. This is often handy for Google Images.
- Back/Forward buttons for navigation
- ‘View’ button to open the web page in your favourite web browser for normal viewing.
- Preview pane can be split horizontally or vertically with your search results
* All popups and new windows are blocked by the mini preview.
Putting a new spin on searching
Orby comes with many other goodies on the side, including
- A spinning globe which shows you the geographical location on Earth of the web sites you look at
- Google Suggestions, which give you search suggestions as-you-type. For example, if you type in ‘garden’, Orby gives you a shortlist of the most popular search queries relating to garden, including ‘gardening’, ‘garden design’ and ‘garden sheds’.
- Spelling suggestions, just in case you’re normal and need a bit of a nudge.
- A 'Quicklaunch' facility, which provides a quick search box allowing you to execute a search and obtain results rapidly
Skin it!
Orby lets you pick and choose skins that customize how Orby looks and feels. This includes not only the interface, such as the buttons, but also changes the look of your search results. This makes it rather refreshing to use if you are bored of the standard search engine look.
