Orby is freeware! Also, it does not contain any spyware or adware or any other form of malware. The installation program gives detailed information about how Orby respects your privacy.
Installing
Should be as easy as, well 1: double click on the setup file!
System Requirements
- Orby currently supports Windows 2000 and Windows XP. Preliminary testings on Windows Vista indicates Orby works on that as well.
- If you would like to search your desktop, then Google Desktop is required, but not essential for the operation of Orby.
Installation notes
When installing as a restricted-access user on a shared machine into a location that you can write to, there may still be negative side effects (association of Orby .skin files for one thing). Orby should still function however. When installing as a restricted access user do not attempt to install over an installation in a restricted-access/shared location as this may destroy that installation.
For network administrators: Orby can only be installed on a per-user basis. In the future, we hope to remove this restriction.
